Vibrant success for Movisport at the Rally d’Italia-Sardinia, the fifth stage of the World Rally-WRC, over the weekend just past, where Nikolay Gryazin and Konstantin Aleksandrov won the competition reserved for the WRC-2 by force, with the Skoda Fabia Tok Sport Rally2
Returning to scoring points in the world championship race, starting from fifth position in the standings, the Russian couple achieved significant success being able to return to the provisional absolute podium in second place with 52 points, behind the French Rossel, first with 63. They also placed in eighth place overall.
Gryazin’s race was an exhilarating progression from the ninth starting position of WRC-2 to success, four days of strategically perfect race, without errors, perfectly supported by the car and team.
“I’m really happy – said Gryazin on arrival – on Saturday we pushed while the last stage we just tried to finish without problems. Thanks to the team for preparing the car, I didn’t have any problems and I didn’t even puncture, everything perfect”.
Movisport also proposed Enrico Brazzoli-Manuel Fenoli with the JME Ford Ford Fiesta Rally3. An unfortunate trip, theirs, in which they had the arduous task of defending third place in the overall, unfortunately the Sardinian soil did not perform well, being forced to retire due to a broken tank during the 14th round, when they were in third position
The gentleman Silvano Patera will also be at the start in Sardinia, flanked by the expert Danilo Fappani, on a Skoda Fabia Rally2. Also in this case of thickness, it ended in an exciting fifth overall position in the “Master” classification, after four extremely hard days that put a strain on both the physique and the mechanics
