Great test of character and speed of the Russian driver, who ran off the road in the first stage and then returned to the race and went to the podium with strength and determination. Now, from ninth he was, he’s sixth in the standings, while Movisport is still third in the world championship standings for Team.
Reggio Emilia, August the 16th – 2021
New and exciting performance for Movisport, once again with a world-class “flavor”, thanks to one of its most prominent color bearers, Nikolay Gryazin, paired with Konstantin Aleksandrov, on the SRT VolksWagen Polo R5. In the eighth round of the WRC-2 World Rally Championship, the Rally Ypres in Belgium, the Russian driver, in fact, has obtained a great results, especially after going out of the road on SS3, finishing the race in second place in the category. A second place that is worth gold, having made him make a mighty leap forward from ninth place to the current sixth.
A race that had started badly, that of Ypres, for Gryazin, who went off the road in the early stages, and was then readmitted to the race from the second leg. A second leg which, starting from the rear, then experienced a powerful comeback by the Moscow driver who dominated the scene on the Flemish asphalts with seven stage wins, definitely a sign of great strength. Movisport is then still in third place in the classification reserved for teams, when there are four races left at the end of the world championship season.
