Excellent debut of Nikolay Gryazin with the Fiesta R5 at the Acropolis Rally, with the third place in WRC-2 and the fourth place in the championship grabbed with force.
Nikolay Gryazin was the great awaited at the world rally in Greece, with Konstantin Aleksandrov at the notes. At the ninth round of the world rally, they got off the usual VolksWagen Polo GTi R5 to get on a Ford Fiesta R5 of the official M-Sport team. It was an important opportunity for the young Russian rally driver to make the leap in quality and to be at the top in view of the 2022 season, a reason for technical and sporting growth that therefore looks to the horizon.
An opportunity certainly not wasted, with the conquest of the third position of WRC-2 and having acquired heavy points for the championship (16), from sixth that was before the iconic Hellenic event, he is now fourth. The satisfaction was great, having also finished first among the various Ford Fiestas lined up at the start.
The Rally of Gods has brought us the 3rd position in WRC2! Glad that I could finally race in this iconic event @acropolisrally And a huge shoutout to our sponsors who always believe in us! 🙏🏻 @redbull_rus @scuderia_movisport and the boss @zelindomelegari 😎🤩🦾 See you all in Rally Finland, where I will be behind the wheel of VW Polo!
