Motorsport Italia.

AT THE ARCTIC RALLY FINLAND WITH ESAPEKKA LAPPI
The 30-year-old Finnish driver has agreed to start a collaboration in the home race scheduled for him for the end of the month, with the prospect of continuing the adventure. Together with the Russian Gryazin he will be engaged in bringing world championship points to the team, registered in the WRC2.
Reggio Emilia, February 11th – 2021
MOVISPORT’s 2021 activity takes on an increasingly international connotation, which after confirming its presence in the World Rally Championship as a Team registered in the WRC-2 series reserved for private drivers, and ensuring its performance of the Russian Nikolay Gryazin and Enrico Brazzoli, announces that they have concluded a new agreement that looks to the world stage with great expectations.
At the next Arctic Rally, scheduled from 26 to 28 February, the second round of the World Rally Championship, a race that has taken the place of the Rally Sweden, the colors of the Reggio association will be brought to the race by the Finnish Esapekka Lappi, winner of the WRC-2 World Championship in 2016 and sixth overall in 2020.
Lappi, 30, one of the most prominent drivers of the new generation, the Arctic Rally also won it in 2012 and will therefore be at the start of the home race, supported by Janne Ferm, with a VolksWagen Polo GTi Rally2 from Printsport Oy, a team with which he raced in 2011 and 2012, thus joining Gryazin, in an attempt to acquire world championship points in the WRC-2 race reserved for teams. The rest of the season with Esapekka Lappi will then try to develop it in such a way as to guarantee a competitive presence in the world race.
At the race in Lapland Movisport will also propose another driver, the Veronese Luca Hoelbling, with a Hyundai i20 R5 prepared by SA Motorsport Italy.
