Esapekka Lappi and Nikolay Gryazin respectively get 1st and 3rd step of the podium in the second round of WRC2!
Reggio Emilia, March 1st, 2021
Good the second, for Movisport. The second world round of 2021 was good, the Arctic Rally, in Lapland, over the weekend just ended, where the Reggio colors are waved in two of the three steps of the podium of the competition reserved for the WRC-2, for private drivers with cars “Rally2”, and where the association is registered as a team.
Esapekka Lappi and Janne Ferm, VolksWagen Polo GTI, won the race with strength (even tenths overall), with 44 ”7 on the second finish, the Norwegian Mikkelsen and thirds (and twelfths overall) Nikolay Gryazin – Konstantin Alexandrov, also them with the German car, to complete a decidedly apotheosis Sunday. The performance of both crews, which have always gravitated to the top of the category, confirming the competitiveness of the Polo and their strength, placed at the service of Movisport and its flag, are of a high level.
A flag that also brought high the Veronese Luca Hoelbling, flanked by his faithful Luca Fiorini, in search of strong sensations on the snow, with the Hyundai i20 Rally2. Sensations he found by finishing 44th overall and first of the Italians in the race.
